Rekhai is committed to producing accurate, respectful, and educationally valuable Vedic astrology content. This page explains our editorial standards.
Our Source Standards
- All astrological interpretations are grounded in classical texts: Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika, Saravali, Jyotish Chandrika, and Tamil Samudrika Shastra manuscripts
- Planetary data is calculated using the Lahiri ayanamsha (sidereal)
- Festival dates are cross-referenced against traditional Panchangam calculations
- We do not publish content that contradicts the classical manuscript tradition without noting the distinction
Our Content Approach
- Educational first: our goal is to explain Vedic astrology concepts accurately, not to sensationalise
- We use Sanskrit and Tamil technical terms alongside their English equivalents
- Predictions are framed as tendencies and energies, not certainties
- We acknowledge that individual birth charts modify all general sign-based forecasts
Author Qualifications
- Our authors specialise in specific Vedic astrology domains (Nakshatra, Dasha, compatibility, palmistry, etc.)
- Content is reviewed for technical accuracy before publication
- We welcome corrections — email editorial@rekhai.in
