Who We Are
Rekhai (rekhai.in) is an AI-powered palm and face reading oracle based on Tamil Samudrika Shastra. We are operated as an individual project.

What Data We Collect
- Google account info — Your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google. We use this only to identify your account.
- Credits and readings — We store your credit balance and the text of your palm/face readings in Firebase so you can access them later.
- Language and gender preference — Saved to personalise your reading.
- Usage statistics — Anonymous aggregated counts (total readings, questions asked, tokens used). No personal data is linked to these counts.
- Payment information — Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers or payment details. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to payment data.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Palm images are never stored. When you scan your palm, the image is sent directly to our AI for analysis and then discarded. It is not saved to any server or database.
- Face images are never stored. Same as above — face scans are analysed in real time and immediately discarded.
- We do not sell your data to any third party.
- We do not run advertising tracking or analytics pixels.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to:
- Provide personalised readings based on your gender preference and hand choice
- Maintain your credit balance and reading history
- Process payments and add purchased credits to your account
- Improve the product using aggregated (non-personal) usage data
Third-Party Services
Data Retention
Your account data (credits, readings, preferences) is retained as long as your account is active.
The in-app "Delete My Data" option (Settings) immediately erases your saved readings, family and kundali-match records, and profile — but keeps your account and any remaining paid credits, so you can start fresh without losing credits you paid for.
To permanently delete your entire account instead — including your credit balance, which is then forfeited — email support@rekhai.in from the address on your account. We will action full deletion requests within 7 days. Payment transaction records are kept afterward, as required for financial and tax compliance.
Children's Privacy
Rekhai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your reading history in a readable format

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Rekhai after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
