These readings are not guaranteed to be accurate and are provided for entertainment, guidance, and spiritual exploration only. AI-generated predictions may contain errors and should not be used as the sole basis for major life decisions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rekhai at rekhai.in ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to the web app, any linked calculator or blog pages, and any future mobile or desktop clients we release.
2. Nature of the Service
Rekhai is an AI-powered platform that provides Vedic astrology readings using:
Palm line analysis (Samudrika Shastra) via your device camera
Vedic birth chart readings (Jyotish) — including Ashtakavarga, Dasha, and divisional charts
Face reading (Mukhanga Shastra) via your device camera
Daily Panchangam (Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Vara almanac)
Kundali (horoscope) matching between two people's birth details
Family readings, where you enter birth details of family members in addition to your own
Free-form question-and-answer with our AI oracle, grounded in a curated rule base drawn from classical manuscripts
All readings are generated by artificial intelligence trained on classical Tamil and Sanskrit astrology manuscripts. The AI interprets patterns and applies ancient rules, but the interpretations are probabilistic, not deterministic. Each question you ask the oracle is a separate AI generation, not a lookup from a fixed answer key.
3. AI Accuracy Disclaimer
Rekhai's readings are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Specifically:
AI models can make errors in interpretation, planetary calculations, or rule application
Vedic astrology itself involves subjective interpretation — different astrologers may reach different conclusions from the same chart
Birth chart accuracy depends entirely on the precision of the birth date, time, and place you provide — an incorrect or approximate birth time will produce an incorrect chart
Palm and face reading accuracy depends on image quality, lighting, camera angle, and your device's camera hardware
No prediction about the future can be guaranteed
Results may vary based on individual circumstances not captured in the reading
Occasionally a reading may fail to generate due to a technical error — see Section 6 for how credits are handled when this happens
Rekhai does not claim supernatural ability, prophecy, or guaranteed foresight. The readings are AI interpretations of classical astrological texts applied to your personal data.
4. Not Professional Advice
Rekhai's readings are not a substitute for:
Professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological advice
Financial, investment, or legal advice
Consultation with a certified Vedic astrologer
Any professional guidance for major life decisions
Do not use Rekhai to make decisions about health treatments, financial investments, legal matters, or other critical situations. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.
5. Account Registration
Sign-in is via Google — we do not currently support email/password accounts
You must be at least 18 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent, to create an account
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to claim additional free credits or referral bonuses is a violation of these Terms (see Section 11)
To generate a birth chart, palm, or face reading, your gender, date of birth, time of birth, country of birth, and place of birth are required — Vedic chart calculations and Samudrika/Mukhanga rules differ by these factors and cannot be computed without them
You are responsible for the accuracy of the birth information you provide. Incorrect birth time or place will produce an incorrect chart and inaccurate readings — this is not a defect in the Service
You are responsible for keeping your Google account credentials secure; we are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from a compromised Google account
6. Credits, Payments & Referrals
Free credits
New accounts start with 3 free credits (5 if you signed up via a referral link)
Your first birth-chart section is free regardless of credit balance and does not consume a credit
Purchasing credits
Credits are purchased through Razorpay and are governed by Razorpay's payment terms
All payments are processed securely by Razorpay — Rekhai does not store your payment card information
Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) for India-based payments and USD for international payments, and are subject to change with notice
Credits are non-refundable once used to generate a reading
Unused credits do not expire but cannot be converted to cash or transferred to another account

Costs may change as we adjust the Service — the amount shown on screen at the time of your action is the amount that applies.
Failed generations
If a reading fails to generate due to a technical error on our end after your credits were spent, the credits are automatically refunded to your account. If content was generated but failed to save, contact support@rekhai.in with the approximate time it happened and we will investigate.
Referrals and sharing
Sharing your referral link may earn you bonus credits when someone signs up through it, up to a cap we set to prevent abuse. Referral bonuses are discretionary and may be withheld or reversed if we determine the referral was generated through fraudulent, automated, or abusive means.
7. Data You Provide About Others
Kundali matching and family readings require you to enter another person's birth details (name, date, time, and place of birth) — either a prospective partner for matching, or family members for a family reading.
By entering another person's information, you represent that you have their permission to do so, or that you are their parent/legal guardian, or that the information is otherwise yours to share
You are responsible for the accuracy of any third party's birth details you enter
Do not enter another person's birth details without a lawful basis to do so
If someone contacts us asking that their data (entered by another user) be removed, we will remove it from that family/kundali record upon verification
8. Data Retention & Deletion
There are two different things you can do, and they are not the same:
"Delete My Data" (in-app, self-service)
Available in Settings. This immediately deletes your saved readings, family and kundali-match records, and clears your profile (birth details, palm/face scan data). Your account and any remaining paid credits are kept — since credits were paid for, we do not erase them along with your profile. You can scan and set up your profile again for free at any time afterward.
Full account deletion (by request)
To permanently delete your entire account — including your Google sign-in link to Rekhai, your credit balance, and every piece of data described above — email support@rekhai.in from the address associated with your account. We will action full deletion requests within 7 days. This is irreversible: once processed, your account cannot be recovered and any remaining credit balance is forfeited.
Payment records are retained after either type of deletion, as required for financial and tax compliance — these contain transaction data only, not your readings or profile.
9. User Data and Privacy
Palm and face images are processed in real-time on your device / via our AI provider and are not stored as images on our servers
Birth details (date, time, place) are stored in your profile to avoid re-entry
Reading texts and Q&A history are saved to your account for your reference
We do not sell your personal data to third parties
Data is stored securely on Google Firebase infrastructure

10. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate birth information for more relevant readings
Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
Not create multiple accounts to claim additional free credits, referral bonuses, or other per-account benefits
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, probe, or use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Service outside of normal browser use
Not attempt to bypass credit checks, payment verification, or any other security control
Not use the Service to harm, deceive, or defraud others
Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent
Not share your account credentials with others
11. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable any account, without prior notice, where we reasonably believe it is being used to:
Probe, test, or attack the Service's security without authorization
Create multiple accounts to exploit free credits or referral bonuses
Access the Service through automated means rather than normal use
Violate any other provision of these Terms
Where an account is suspended for suspected abuse before any legitimate use occurred, no compensation or credit refund is owed. If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact support@rekhai.in.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on Rekhai — including the AI-generated readings, the knowledge base, user interface, and branding — is the intellectual property of Rekhai. The readings generated for you are for your personal use only and may not be republished or sold.
The underlying knowledge base is derived from classical Tamil and Sanskrit texts that are in the public domain, processed and curated by Rekhai.
13. Service Availability
Rekhai is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any feature of it, at any time. We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service unavailability.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rekhai and its creators shall not be liable for:
Any decisions made based on AI-generated readings
Inaccurate predictions or misinterpretations
Emotional distress arising from readings
Loss of data or service interruptions
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Rekhai and its creators harmless from any claim, loss, or damage — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of another person's data without a lawful basis to do so (see Section 7).
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of Rekhai after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India. Before filing a claim, we ask that you first contact support@rekhai.in so we can attempt to resolve the issue directly.
